Whether it's a slow leak that's been eating your subfloor for weeks or a flooded basement at 2am, our Mendota crews are already moving. Our Mendota-based teams arrive with truck-mount extractors, moisture meters, and drying gear staged and ready to go.
Too many Mendota, IL families have called a big national number only to get bounced through hold music before a random subcontractor shows up hours later, so Hirex Water Damage built its Mendota operation differently. Every technician on our Mendota roster is a Hirex Water Damage employee, not a gig-app contractor pulled from a random directory.
Each lead tech holds an IICRC Water Restoration Technician certification and has personally handled clean-water, gray-water, and contaminated black-water losses, so Water Damage Repair in Mendota isn't a side service we tacked on — it's the reason the company exists. Full liability coverage and Mendota, IL licensing back every job we take, so you're protected from the moment our truck pulls into the driveway.
We keep a stocked warehouse inside Mendota, IL so equipment never has to be trucked in from another region, which is the difference between a 45-minute arrival and a next-day one.
Ask any Mendota property manager who has dealt with a burst supply line at 3am — the difference between a crew that shows up ready and one still loading a truck at the shop is measured in gallons of water soaking into your subfloor. That's the gap Hirex Water Damage was built to close, one Mendota call at a time.
Not every leak announces itself with a flooded floor. A lot of the worst damage we see in Mendota started small and got ignored for weeks. Here's what tells us a property needs professional attention rather than a mop and a fan:
Recognizing one of these signs early is the difference between a contained repair and a gutted room, so call our Mendota team and get a straight answer on how urgent it is.
Whether it's one bedroom carpet or an entire flooded commercial floor, our Mendota crews scale the response to match the loss — nothing gets a cookie-cutter response.
We arrive with submersible pumps and truck-mount extractors that get standing water out of a Mendota property before it soaks deeper into the subfloor. Every extraction job includes moisture mapping so we know exactly which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
Our drying plans use moisture meters and thermal imaging to target air movers exactly where hidden moisture is trapped, with daily drying logs so you can see the numbers improving, not just take our word for it.
For Mendota homeowners, that means drywall removal at the flood cut line, subfloor assessment, and content pack-out for anything that can be saved, with clear photo documentation at every stage for your insurance claim.
Multi-unit and commercial Mendota properties get their own project manager plus enough drying equipment to cover the real square footage, not a token setup — we know a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants below has to move fast.
When a Mendota job involves sewage backup, our team suits up in full PPE, applies EPA-registered antimicrobials, and safely disposes of porous materials that can't be saved.
On top of standard drying, our Mendota crews treat affected materials to reduce mold risk and will be upfront if a section needs specialist remediation.
We quote the job before equipment gets plugged in, so there's no surprise line item buried in the final invoice.
Local staging inside Mendota, IL means Mendota response times usually beat the national average by a wide margin.
We document everything with photos and moisture logs and work directly with your adjuster so you're not stuck translating restoration jargon.
Final moisture readings have to hit dry-standard before we consider a Mendota job done, and getting there again is on us, not you.
Our Mendota team asks a handful of targeted questions so the truck that shows up already has the right gear loaded.
The closest available technician is routed to your Mendota property with equipment staged and ready.
We remove standing water first, then map moisture and position air movers and dehumidifiers based on the readings.
We re-check moisture levels daily until materials hit dry standard, then hand you full documentation for your records or your insurer.
We measure moisture with instruments, not guesswork, and we won't sign off on a Mendota job until those readings match the dry standard for the materials involved. If a callback shows lingering moisture within 30 days of a completed job, we return and correct it at no additional charge.
You'll find that exact commitment printed on your Mendota paperwork, not just mentioned over the phone. A repeat visit under this guarantee doesn't mean starting over — we pull the original moisture logs and pick up exactly where the last visit left off.
